More than $5.6 million in federal funding is headed to 42 alternative transportation projects in West Virginia. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin said the funding is from programs administrated by the Federal Highway Administration. The money will pay for a variety of projects. They include sidewalk improvements, train depot restoration, bicycle signage, and recreational trails.
