Second Season Of “Relentless: An Inside Look At Ohio Football” On WOUB-TV

For a second season, Bobcat fans will get a special inside look at the Ohio Football training camp with “Relentless: An Inside Look At Ohio Football,” which will air Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and will re-air on Fridays at 9 p.m. on WOUB-TV.
Produced by WOUB in partnership with Ohio Athletics, the five-part series is a reality sports documentary television series that will follow Ohio Football through training camp. The show will give fans an in-depth perspective of the team’s preparation for the upcoming season as well as a look at life off the field for the student athletes.
"Last year was a historic season for Ohio University Football and we were thrilled to showcase all the hard work that went into making it so special," said Evan Shaw, WOUB chief videographer/editor. "We are so fortunate to have a coaching staff that grants us this exclusive access and without their cooperation, none of this would be possible."
The Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences nominated “Relentless” for an Emmy Award in the category of Daily/Weekly Sports Program in 2012.
"The first season of Relentless” was so much fun to put together," Shaw said. "We look forward to another great season of showcasing the Ohio University football program throughout the 2012 preseason."
In 2011, Ohio posted its first 10-win season since 1968, won the MAC East Championship and captured its first-ever bowl victory in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
In addition to the airdates on WOUB-TV, viewers can watch the episodes on woub.org, ohiobobcats.com and Ohio's YouTube channel, OhioBobcatTV.
