Voters First Group Scrambling For Signatures

Members of Ohio's Voters First group are pounding the pavement ahead of the deadline to collect the nearly 130,000 signatures necessary to put a proposed constitutional amendment before voters.
Volunteer Jerry Adkins, of Marion, is manning a signature gathering station in Cambridge Wednesday and Thursday.
Adkins says the efforts is about more fairly drawn district lines and an end of gerrymandering.
The state alters legislative and U.S. House district boundaries every 10 years to reflect population shifts.
Controversial new maps were put in place for this year's elections.
Critics of the Voters First effort say the group is not non-partisan and the plan is being pushed by Democrats.
