Scioto Co. Fire Leaves Two Dead

Two elderly women died in a fire in Scioto County early Tuesday morning.
According to a release from the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office, the fire happened about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the city of Rush.
The names and ages of the two women are not being released at this time.
According to the release, investigators didn't find any smoke alarms in the home on their initial examination.
The fire started in the rear of the home near the kitchen and heavily damaged the home.
Investigators are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
