New Dean For OU College Of Fine Arts

OU Executive Vice President and Provost Pam Benoit announced Monday Margaret Kennedy-Dygas will assume the role.
Kennedy-Dygas will succeed Interim Dean Madeleine Scott, who replaced Charles McWeeny after he stepped down from the position to become a faculty member in June.
Kennedy-Dygas is currently the associate dean of the College of Arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
She was chosen after a national search.
Her background is in voice and music history and literature.
She was a faculty member at the University of Kentucky, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Hope College.
Her appointment at OU will begin May 20.
