Thomas Wins MSC Player Of The Week

The Mid-South Conference announced Rio Grande junior guard Brianna Thomas as its player of the week Monday afternoon.

Thomas's highlight performance against Shawnee State earned her the week's honors. Thomas recorded a triple-double in the overtime win over the Bears, finishing with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists.

The guard currently sits atop the conference in points per game with 19.82 and places third in the nation in total points scored with 337.

Thomas and the RedStorm host St. Catherine Thursday with tipoff set for 6 p.m.
