The Bowen House is host to this year’s annual Spring Art Exhibit, which displays Logan High School students’ artwork.

“A majority of this year’s show is made up of the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition Southeastern Ohio Regional winners, our biggest showing ever,” said Rita Jones, LHS art teacher. “I am really excited we have so many great pieces at the exhibit this year.”

Jones commended fellow art teacher Jeremy McAfee for his role in the program this year.

“He has done a tremendous job taking over the advanced art classes and overseeing the production of quality work by the students,” she said, adding that this is the largest show of regional winners displayed.

"Usually we fill one room with the regional pieces, but this year we have filled the gallery walls with them."

The artists and instructors are currently preparing for the upcoming state competition.

The show is available for viewing during regular business hours through April 24. Visit www.bowenhouse.org for more information.
