Meigs County Unofficial Election Results

Republican incumbent Tim Ihle is the unofficial winner in the county commission race. Ihle received 3,204 votes over Independent challenger Mick Davenport who received 2,398 votes.
Mary T. Byer ran unopposed in the county auditor race and received 4,303 votes.
Voters failed to approve the Meigs County General Health District levy with 3,059 against the levy, and 2,601 for the levy. According to Meigs County Board of Health, the additional tax one mill, five year levy would have aided in finding a new registered nurse and using Osteopathic Heritage Foundation funds for the RN's salary.
Voters passed the Pomeroy Village Fire Protection Levy with 237 votes for the levy and 121 votes against the levy. The two mill, five year levy aids emergency and fire protection services starting in 2014 and due in 2015.
