Ohio Women’s Basketball Picked To Win MAC East

Ohio is selected to win the MAC East division as well as the favorite to take home the MAC title for the 2015-2016 season with 10 votes. Led by preseason All-MAC Team players Kiyanna Black and Quiera Lampkins, the Bobcats will look to repeat as conference champions and win their third MAC Women’s Basketball Tournament title in program history.
Receiving twelve first place votes to win the East, the ‘Cats will look to improve on their overall record from last year of 27-3 and 16-2 in MAC play. The team opens up their season November 7th against Wilmington College in the Convocation Center. The Bobcats will begin MAC plat on January 2nd against Western Michigan.
