Bored with your Thanksgiving Desserts? Try Something Different
< < Back to bored-with-your-thanksgiving-desserts-try-something-differentThe biggest food holiday of the year is almost upon us. The fourth Thursday of November is designated as a day of thanks – to spend with family and friends and reflect on the good things in your life. While being thankful is important, let’s not lie. A lot of the reason Thanksgiving is the 2nd favorite holiday of Americans, is the food. Turkey is the superstar of the day – the most important element, but the side dishes and dessert are pretty important too. There’s nothing like topping of a big dinner with something sweet. If you’re bored with the normal pies and cakes, here are a few ideas that will spice up your Thanksgiving.
French Canadian Maple Syrup Pie
While not an America dish, this pie would give a very unique flavor to your Thanksgiving dinner. A traditional dish in Québec, the maple flavor will definitely be something most of your guests haven’t tried before.
