Kiyanna Black Named MAC Player of the Week

Senior guard Kiyanna Black was dubbed Mid-American Conference East Player of the Week once again after leading the Bobcats (19-4, 11-1 MAC) to a 77-57 victory over the Toledo Rockets.
Black was a monster, grabbing 38 points, one away from her career high. Black went 14-for-27 from the field and 10-for-20 from the arc.
The guard’s 10 three-pointers tied the Mid-American Conference and the Ohio Bobcat’s program for three’s made by an individual in play. Black also seized the Rocket’s Savage Arena record for threes made by an individual.
Against the Rockets, Black set a career-high in field goals (14), attempted (27), three-pointers made (10) and three-pointers attempted (20).
Black and the ‘Cats will be in action when they take on the Miami RedHawks at home on Wednesday, Feb 17.
