Federal Hocking strives to revive their success behind young Lancers squad

The Federal Hocking Lancers find themselves in a rebuilding stage after finishing last season 12-5, second in the TVC-Hocking, and a loss in the district semifinals.
The Lancers graduate two All-State players: third team player, Hunter Smith, and honorable mention, Nathanial Massie.
Federal Hocking has graduated 14 seniors in the last two years and are shifting their attention to the growth of players with minimal varsity experience.
“We’ve got a few kids with very limited varsity time,” head coach Johnathan Thompson said. “We are taking everything game by game.”
This Lancers squad consists of five seniors who will have to play a big leadership role in order to get this team back to where they were.
