Here are the unofficial 2023 General Election results for Belmont County

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Belmont County.

Republican Ben Neiman earned a position as council member at large for Martins Ferry with 28% of the vote. Jim Angew earned 26.7% of the vote. Republican James Schramm earned 24.8% of the vote. Democrat Thomas J. Burns earned 20.4% of the vote.

Kathryn Ann Thalman earned a position as mayor of St. Clairsville with 51% of the vote. Linda Jordan earned 33.9% of the vote. Wiliam Brooks earned 15% of the vote.

Robyn Misner earned a position as a Barnesville Village Council member with 26.4% of the vote. Terry McCort earned 20.3% of the vote. Aleysa Hendershot earned 18.5% of the vote. Mark Lucas earned 18.3% of the vote. Courtney Valine earned 16.5% of the vote.

Robert Flanagan earned a position as mayor of Bethesda with 67.2% of the vote. Linda Reeves earned 32.8% of the vote.

Robert Stewart earned a position on Brookside Village Council with 40.7% of the vote. Sam Zavatsky earned 30% of the vote. Wendy Anderson earned 29.3% of the vote.

Joseph Schaeffer earned a position as mayor of Holloway with 54.4% of the vote. John Sheppard earned 45.6% of the votes.

Jeffery Haught earned a position as mayor of Powhatan Point with 82.7% of the vote. Christopher Heslep earned 17.3% of the vote.

Thomas Robert Spano earned a position as township trustee of Flushing with 72.3% of the vote. Bryan Clark earned 27.7% of the vote.

Doug Kemp earned a position as township fiscal officer of Goshen with 41.6% of the vote. Dylan Crall earned 34.2% of the vote. Derek Cain earned 24.2% of the vote.

C. Timothy Lara earned a position as Kirkwood township trustee with 48.5% of the vote. Alexander Schafer earned 29.4% of the vote. Richard Wells earned 22.1% of the vote.

Ed Good earned a position as township trustee of Mead with 69.1% of the vote. Jason Albright earned 30.9% of the vote.

Kathy Hammond earned a position of township fiscal officer of Mead with 70.7% of the vote. David Albright earned 29.3% of the vote.

Marla Krupnik earned a position as township fiscal officer of Pultney with 63.9% of the vote. Jeffrey Schultz earned 36.1% of the vote.

Stephen Baker earned a position a township trustee of Smith with 56.2% of the vote. David Heath Sr. earned 43.8% of the vote.

Jeffrey Miller earned a position as township trustee of Somerset with 48.9% of the vote. Justin Winland earned 40.4% of the vote. Greg Spano earned 10.7% of the vote.

Shane Kildow earned a position as township trustee of Union with 55.25% of the vote. Henry Stewart earned 44.8% of the votes.

Jeff Azallion earned a position as township trustee of Wheeling with 54% of the vote. Michael Androsko earned 46% of the vote.

Kim Leonard earned a position as a member of Jefferson County ESC with 41.6% of the vote. David Haught earned 33.1% of the vote. Toni Jean Dondzila earned 25.2% of the vote.

Ed Ederhart earned a position on the Barnesville Exempted Village School District board with 37.8% of the vote. Dennis Huntsman earned 35.1% of the vote. Andrew Daugherty earned 27.1% of the vote.

Charles Jason Ayers earned a position on the Bellaire Local School District board with 30.2% of the vote. Bill Marinelli earned 29.5% of the vote. Mike Dossie earned 21.8% of the vote. Mike Wallace earned 18.5% of the vote.

Kori Rosnick earned a position on the Bridgeport Exempted Village School District board with 38.2% of the vote. Ryan Kreiter earned 34.6% of the vote. Jerry Moore earned 27.2% of the vote.

Chuck Probst earned a position on the Martins ferry City School District board with 29.5% of the vote. Allen Marangoni earned 19.6% of the vote. Nick Stankovich earned 18.7% of the vote. Bill Suto earned 17.8% of the vote. Jeremy Shrodes earned 14.4% of the vote.

Dominic DeFelice earned a position on the Shadyside Local School District board with 28.4% of the vote. Donna Joseph earned 25.9% of the vote. Nathan Butts earned 23.7% of the vote. Willard Davis earned 22% of the vote.

Michael Fador earned a position on the St. Clairsville Richland City School board with 36.9% of the vote. David Stack earned 27.5% of the vote. Francis Zanders earned 20.1% of the vote. Floyd Marody earned 15.5% of the vote.

Voters in Pultney township approved a roads renewal levy by a vote of 802 to 413.

Voters in Warren township approved a fire replacement levy by a vote of 358 to 258.

Voters in Warren township approved a roads replacement levy by a vote of 336 to 277.

Voters in Bellaire Local School District approved a renewal levy by a vote of 1,389 to 842.

Voters in Shadyside Local School District approved a renewal levy by a vote of 869 to 713.

Voters in Union Local School District voted against a bond Issue by a vote of 2,269 to 723.

Voters in Jefferson County JVS approved a current expenses levy by a vote of 132 to 99.

Voters approved an Eastern Ohio Transit Authority renewal levy by a vote of 2,959 to 1,464.

Voters in the city of Martins Ferry voted against a municipal income tax by a vote of 992 to 301.

Voters in the city of St. Clairsville approved a police renewal levy by a vote of 1,104 to 724.

Voters in Shadyside village approved a police renewal levy by a vote of 721 to 382.

Voters in Barnesville village approved a fire replacement levy by a vote of 628 to 428.

Voters in Bethesda village approved a roads renewal levy by a vote of 212 to 143.

Voters in Bethesda village approved a fire renewal levy by a vote of 231 to 125.

Voters in Bridgeport village approved a fire additional levy by a vote of 197 to 146.

Voters in Flushing village approved an EMS renewal levy by a vote of 182 to 90.

Voters in Flushing village approved a parks renewal levy by a vote of 171 to 104.

Voters in Yorkville village approved a fire renewal levy by a vote of 66 to 41.
