Here are the unofficial 2023 General Election results for Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Harrison County.

R. Kevin Jones earned a position as mayor of Cadiz village with 32.2% of the vote. Terry Capers earned 27.5% of the vote, John Migliore earned 24.5% and Daniel Ossman earned 15.8%.

Neal Dawson earned a position as trustee of German township with 90.2% of the vote. Charles Hayes earned 9.8% of the vote. 

Richard Atkins earned a position as trustee of Green township with 61.9% of the vote. Frankie Dulkoski earned 38.1% of the vote. 

Stevens Sanders earned a position as trustee of Monroe township with 57.4% of the vote. Tom Ferguson earned 42.6% of the vote. 

Gary Myer earned a position as trustee of North township with 53.4% of the vote. Paul Trushell earned 46.6% of the vote.

Collin Albaugh earned a position as trustee of Stock township with 53% of the vote. Richard Hugh earned 47% of the vote. 

Kris Dickey earned a position as trustee of Washington township with 53% of the vote. Kevin Green earned 47% of the vote.

Nathan Peters earned a position as trustee of Washington township with 42.9% of the vote. Benjamin Hodkinson earned 31.2% of the vote and Adam Dunlap earned 25.9%.

Teresa Love earned a position as fiscal officer of Monroe township with 78.2% of the vote. Wendy Haga earned 21.8% of the vote. 

Jessica Brown earned a position as fiscal officer of Shortcreek township with 58.9% of the vote. Kristie Diane Boruta earned 41.1% of the vote. 

Margene Angelozzi earned a position as fiscal officer of Washington township with 60.7% of the vote. Donna Carpenter earned 39.3% of the vote. 

Kim Leonard and David Haught earned a position on the Jefferson County Educational Service Center board with 36.3% of the vote each. Toni Jean Dondzila earned 27.4% of the vote.

Voters in Monroe township approved a fire and EMS levy of 1.5 mills for 5 years by a vote of 186 to 110.

 Voters in Cadiz township approved a cemetery maintenance levy of 0.44 mills for 5 years by a vote of 665 to 334.

 Voters in Cadiz township approved a cemetery maintenance levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 592 to 391.

Voters in Cadiz township approved a fire department maintenance levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 736 to 258. 

Voters in Franklin township approved a cemetery maintenance and operations levy of 0.5 mill for 5 years by a vote of 153 to 61. 

Voters in Franklin township approved a cemetery maintenance and operations levy of 0.5 mill for 5 years by a vote of 147 to 65.

 Voters in Moorefield township approved a cemetery maintenance levy of 0.4 mill for 5 years by a vote of 105 to 33.

Voters in Moorefield township approved a fire protection levy of 2 mills for 5 years by a vote of 107 to 30.

Voters in North township approved an ambulance and emergency medical services levy of 2.25 mills for 5 years by a vote of 142 to 118.

Voters in Nottingham township approved a fire protection levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 89 to 19.

Voters in Rumley township approved a fire equipment levy of 2 mills for 5 years by a vote of 257 to 107.

Voters in Shortcreek township approved a fire protection levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 190 to 168.

Voters in Shortcreek township approved an ambulance and emergency medical services levy of 2.25 mills for 5 years by a vote of 245 to 112.

Voters in Stock township approved a fire equipment levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 125 to 49. 

Voters in Stock township approved a road and maintenance levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 126 to 45.

  Voters in the Buckeye Joint Vocational School District approved an improvements and expenses renewal levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 23,523 to 12,663

 Voters in Jefferson County Joint Vocational School District approved a current expenses levy of 0.5 mills for 5 years by a vote of 13,065 to 6,551.

 Voters in Harrison County approved a police protection levy of 0.75 mill for 5 years by a vote of 2,735 to 1,766.

 Voters in Harrison County approved a community programs and developmental disabilities facilities levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 2,892 to 1,643.

 Voters in Harrison County approved a children services levy of 0.5 mill for 5 years by a vote of 2,788 to 1,746.

 Voters in Bowerston village approved a current expense levy of 1.5 mills for 5 years by a vote of 56 to 20.

 Voters in Hopedale village approved a current expense levy of 1.6 mills for 5 years by a vote of 164 to 94.

 Voters in Jewett village approved two current expenses levies of 1 mill for 5 years, one by a vote of 97 to 55 and the other by a vote of 96 to 57.

 Voters in New Athens village approved a current expense levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 62 to 35.

 Voters in New Athens village approved a police levy of 2 mills for 5 years by a vote of 77 to 19.

 Voters in Scio village approved a park expense levy of 0.88 mills for 5 years by a vote of 100 to 76.

 Voters in Scio village approved a current expense levy of 2 mills for 5 years by a vote of 110 to 65.

 Voters in Scio village approved a current expenses levy of 0.88 mills for 5 years by a vote of 105 to 67.

 Voters in Scio village approved an ambulance and EMS service levy of 2.55 mills for 5 years by a vote of 127 to 53.

 Voters in Franklin township approved a fire equipment levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 74 to 11.

Voters in the Shortcreek Fire District approved a levy of 2.75 mills by a vote of 473 to 406.
