PHOTOS: 2014 Bounty on the Bricks/Athens Community Music Festival

Uptown Athens was a beehive of activity on Aug. 9 as thousands of local residents took part in the 2nd annual Bounty on the Bricks and attended the 16th annual Athens Community Music Festival.
Hosted by The Athens Foundation, Bounty on the Bricks brought Athenians together to enjoy a locally sourced meal prepared by Master Chef Alfonso Constriciani. More than 350 people attended this year’s event on Court Street, which raised funds for area food pantries.
Meanwhile, local musicians were tuning up/turning it up for the 16th annual Athens Community Music Festival, a six-hour benefit that featured 30 acts on six stages. Organized by Scott Winland, this year’s beneficiaries included The Gathering Place, Athens Rock Camp for Girls, ARTS/West and the Bryan Winland Memorial Art & Music Scholarship.
