Here are the 2024 primary election results for Perry County

Benjamin Carpenter won the Republican primary for the county commissioner seat whose term begins Jan. 2, 2025 with 3,190 votes. Dan Kinsel received 2,183 votes.
Chase Bennett won the Republican primary for the county commissioner seat whose term begins Jan. 3, 2025 with 3,345 votes. Thad Cooperrider received 2,064 votes.
William R. Barker won the Republican primary for county sheriff with 2,166 votes. Bob Schons received 1,817 votes and Bryan Ruff received 1,595 votes.
Voters in Hopewell Township rejected a fire protection levy of 2.5 mills for 5 years by a vote of 351 to 294.
