Here are the 2024 general election results for Scioto County
< < Back to ?p=334571SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – According to unofficial results, 68 percent of registered voters in Scioto County cast ballots in the 2024 general election.
Voters in the county supported Republican Donald Trump for president with 74 percent of the vote, followed by Democrat Kamala Harris with 26 percent.
In the race for U.S. Senate, Scioto County voters preferred Republican Bernie Moreno with 67 percent of the vote followed by Democrat Sherrod Brown with 29 percent.
A majority of Scioto County voters cast ballots against Issue 1 with 67 percent of the vote.
In the race for County Recorder, Republican Gary Jenkins received 17,057 votes to win. Democrat Gail L. Alley received 12,187 votes.
In the race for County Treasurer, Republican Joey Sandlin received 16,660 votes to win. Democrat William K. Ogg received 12,535 votes.
Voters in Scioto County approved a Maintenance and Support of Senior Citizens Services Levy renewal .3 mills for 5 years with a vote of 15,965-10,435. They also approved a Scioto County Library Levy renewal of 1 mil for 5 years with a vote of 15,598-10,898.
Voters in Village of New Boston approved a Property Tax renewal of 1.5 mills for 5 years with a vote of 398-185.
Voters in Village of South Webster approved a Property Tax renewal of 1 mil for 5 years with a vote of 233-104.
Voters in Clay Township approved a Fire Protection Levy replacement of 1.35 mills for 5 years with a vote of 940-657.
Voters in Jefferson Township approved an ambulance replacement levy of 2 mills for 5 years with a vote of 625-503. They also approved a general construction replacement levy of 4 mills for 5 years with a vote of 605-519. The community senior center replacement levy of 1 mil for 5 years was approved 557-554.
Voters in Madison Township approved Emergency Ambulance Services levy replacement of 2 mills for 5 years with a vote of 1,038-787. They also approved a general construction and repair of streets and roads levy replacement of 4 mills for 5 years with a vote of 944-869.
Voters in Morgan Township approved a Providing and maintaining a fire apparatus addition of 4.25 mills for 5 years with a vote of 464-429.
Voters in Porter Township approved an emergency medical services renewal levy of 3 mills for 5 years with a vote of 3,056-1,334. They also approved a fire protection renewal levy of 2 mills for 5 years with a vote of 3,058-1,322. The road and bridge maintenance renewal levy of 2 mills for 5 years was approved 3,014-1,337.
Voters in Rarden Township approved an Ambulance Services levy replacement of 4 mills for 5 years with a vote of 190-189.
Voters in Union Township approved a Cemetary maintenance levy replacement of .5 mills for 5 years with a vote of 498-422. They also approved a fire protection replacement of 2 mills for 5 years with a vote of 552-372.
Voters in Valley Township approved a fire protection renewal levy of 1.2 mills for 5 years with a vote of 666-437. They also approved a general construction renewal levy of 4mills for 5 years with a vote of 668-433.
Voters in Washington Township approved a paving and maintaining roads levy renewal of 4 mills for 5 years with a vote of 1,058-838.
