In this episode of “Conversations from Studio B”, host Robin Barnes invites members of The Gathering Place to talk about their upcoming event, the Community Illumination Benefit, taking place Friday, August 21st at Central Venue, Central Venue, 29 Carpenter St., in Athens.

The event is an advocacy piece designed to raise awareness of mental illness in our community and uses art as a vehicle to conduct outreach to our community about programming and services offered at The Gathering Place.

Tickets are $20 for adults and children 12 and under are free and can be purchased online at www.thegpathens.org or at our facility on 7 N. Congress St., Athens, Ohio.
