Ohio Swimming and Diving Adds Seven During Early Signing Period

Annie Gosselin (Naperville, Ill), Kelsey Hahn (Oviedo, Fla), Mikayla Herich (Hebron, Ky), Ryleigh Kobbe (Laramie, Wy), Claire Mikesell (Clearfield, Pa), Katherine Redden (Fort Thomas, Ky), and Emily Zimcosky (Smock, Pa) are the new Bobcats for the team.
Gosselin was named All-American from 2013-2014. She has also been a National qualifier, Junior National qualifier, NCSA qualifier, Grand Prix Qualifier, Illinois High School State finalist and is an Illinois Age Group State Champion.
Hahn earned the awards of Team MVP from 2009-2011, First-Team All-Conference in 2013 and Second-Team All-Conference in 2014. She also received All-American considerations in 2012 from her performances in the 400-yard freestyle relays. Herich qualified for the Junior Nationals.
Kobbe received three state champion letters and one varsity letter in Springboard Diving. She set the School 11 dive record at 521.15 in 2015 and School 6 Dive Record at 302.65 in 2014. Redden is a USS Sectional Qualifier and YMCA Short and Long Course National Qualifier. She has helped her team to receive honors as the KHSAA Region 4 Champion (2013-2015) and KHSAA Region 4 Women’s Runner-Up (2013-2015).
Mikesell finished in second place in the 50-yard freestyle at the PIAA swimming state championships in 2015. She also finished in the top-eight in the 400-yard freestyle relay at the 2015 PIAA state championships. Mikesell earned first place in the 100-yard freestyle at the 2015 Pennsylvania Western YMCA district meet and is an All-American in the 50-yard freestyle.
Zimcosky is a eight-time YMCA National Meet Competitor, two-time WPIAL AA PA District 7 50-yard freestyle champion, two-time WPIAL AA PA District 7 50-yard freestyle record holder, three-time WPIAL AA PA District 7 100-yard freestyle champion, two-time WPIAL AA PA District 7 100-freestyle record holder, four-time PAHS All-State selection, four-time NISCA State Top-16 and seven-time YMCA All-American. She is a three-time AMS Age Group Swimmer of the Year and a 2016 Olympic Trials qualifier in the 50-yard freestyle.
