NELSONVILLE, Ohio (WOUB) — Fresh off of a run of shows with Harry Styles, Madi Diaz played a solo acoustic set on the rainy Sunday afternoon of the 2022 Nelsonville Music Festival.
Diaz pulled the songs in her set largely from her 2021 album “History of a Feeling” (ANTI-). These songs included “Man In Me,” “Crying In Public,” “Resentment,” and “New Person, Old Place.” Before her set, Diaz talked about how “Resentment” was covered by Kesha featuring Brian Wilson, Sturgill Simpson, and Wrabel, and how that was a surprise and an honor for her.
From there, Diaz treated the audience to an unreleased and untitled track. She finished her Sycamore Session with “Do It Now” and “Think of Me,” both from “History of a Feeling.”
1. “Man In Me” (“History of a Feeling”) – 3:15
2.”Crying In Public” (“History of a Feeling”) – 9:15
3. “Resentment” (“History of a Feeling”) – 14:13
4. “New Person, Old Place” (“History of a Feeling”)
– 17:55
