Here are the unofficial 2023 General Election results for Tuscarawas County

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Tuscarawas County.
Shane Gunnoe earned a position as mayor of the city of Dover with 62.4% of the vote. Colby Byrom earned 37.6% of the vote.
James Zucal earned a position as mayor of the city of Uhrichsville with 61.8% of the vote. Suzanne Bower earned 38.2% of the vote.
Robert Lloyd earned a position as mayor for Bolivar village with 52% of the vote. Tedd Finlayson II earned 48% of the vote.
Doug Cross earned a position as mayor for Midvale village with 55.7% of the vote. Lawrence Kopp earned 44.3% of the vote.
Tom Gardner earned a position as mayor for the village of Port Washington with 60.3% of the vote. Nate Penrod earned 39.7% of the vote.
Bruce Metzger earned a position as mayor for the village of Strasburg with 58.5% of the vote. Steven Smith earned 41.5% of the vote.
Stephen Adams and Joe Bourne earned positions as council members for the village of Port Washington with 30% and 29.2% of the vote respectively. Jacquie Price earned 22.4% of the vote. Jason Byrom earned 18.4% of the vote.
Wesley Hostetler and Kathy Burrier earned positions on the village of Strasburg council with 35.8% and 32.8% of the vote respectively. Michael Rosenberry earned 31.5% of the vote.
Matthew Smith and Mike McConnell earned a position as village of Tuscarawas council with 44.7% and 37% of the vote respectively. Kevin Hartline earned 18.3% of the vote.
Bill Miller earned a position as Goshen township trustee with 52.8% of the vote. Raymond Grewell earned 24.4% of the vote and Lloyd MacAdam earned 22.8% of the vote.
Matt Ritterbeck earned a position as Lawrence township trustee with 38.2% of the vote. Dante Mariani earned 20.9% of the vote, Paul Noel earned 16.5% of the vote, Patrick Eddy earned 13% of the vote and Roxanne Timberlake earned 11.4% of the vote.
Titus Slabaugh earned a position as Sugarcreek township trustee with 58.1% of the vote. Derrick Zahner earned 41.9% of the vote.
Mark DiGenova earned a position as Dover township trustee with 42.6% of the vote. Jeremy Beans earned 32.3% of the vote. Cory Miceli earned 25.1% of the vote.
Daniel Donato earned a position as Franklin township trustee, with 37.1% of the vote. David Jones earned 35.2% of the vote. Corey Foster earned 27.7% of the vote.
Andrew Miller earned a position as Sugarcreek township fiscal officer with 57.2% of the vote. Lonnie Miller earned 42.8% of the vote.
Voters in Fairfield township approved a fire and emergency medical services renewal levy of 1.5 mills for five years by a vote of 384 to 124.
Voters in Franklin township approved a fire protection renewal levy of 1 mill for five years by a vote of 401 to 264.
Voters in Franklin township approved a roads renewal levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 426 to 239.
Voters in Perry township approved a general operating expenses renewal levy of 2 mills for five years by a vote of 84 to 30.
Voters in Sugarcreek township approved a cemetery replacement levy of 0.2 mill for four years by a vote of 711 to 510.
Voters in Sugarcreek township approved a roads and bridges replacement levy of 1 mill for five years by a vote of 258 to 160.
Voters in Union township approved a current expenses replacement levy of 0.7 mill for five years by a vote of 261 to 191.
Voters in Warwick township approved a roads and bridges replacement levy of 3 mills for five years by a vote of 295 to 223.
Voters in Wayne township approved a roads and bridges renewal levy of 2 mills for five years by a vote of 253 to 196.
Voters in the Buckeye Joint Vocational School District approved an improvements and expenses renewal levy of 1 mill for 5 years by a vote of 23,523 to 12,663.
Voters in the Indian Valley School District approved a current expenses renewal levy of 5 mills for five years by a vote of 1,853 to 1,065.
Voters in the New Philadelphia City School District approved an emergency requirements renewal levy of 4.9 mills for 10 years by a vote of 4,191 to 2,415.
Voters in the Tuscarawas Valley School District approved an emergency requirements renewal levy of 4 mills for 10 years by a vote of 2,198 to 1,485.
Voters in the unincorporated area of Tuscarawas County rejected electric aggregation by a vote of 3,765 to 2,946.
Voters in the unincorporated area of Tuscarawas County rejected gas aggregation by a vote of 3,692 to 2,991.

Voters in Roswell village approved an ordinance to reduce the number of village council members from six to five by a vote of 36 to 13.
Voters in Sugarcreek village approved a fire and emergency services renewal levy of 3.5 mills for 5 years by a vote of 568 to 244.
Voters in Strasburg village rejected a police protection replacement and increase levy totaling 2.3 mills for five years by a vote of 505 to 489.
Voters in Tuscarawas village approved a street improvements renewal levy of 2 mills for five years by a vote of 263 to 99.
Voters in the Mineral City/Sandy township ambulance district approved an emergency medical services renewal levy of 2.5 mills for five years by a vote of 290 to 62.
