Here are the 2024 general election results for Ross County
< < Back to ?p=334556ROSS COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – According to unofficial results, 70.09 percent of registered voters in Ross County cast ballots in the 2024 general election.
Voters in the county supported Republican Donald Trump for president with 68.91 percent of the vote, followed by Democrat Kamala Harris with 29.84 percent.
In the race for U.S. Senate, Ross County voters preferred Republican Bernie Moreno with 62.39 percent of the vote followed by Sherrod Brown with 34.09 percent.
A majority of Ross County voters cast ballots against Issue 1 with 65.58 percent of the vote.
In the race for County Commissioner for the term starting January 2, 2025, Republican David Glass received 20,432 votes to win. Democrat Mark Hirsch received 10,963 votes.
In the race for County Commissioner for the term starting January 3, 2025, Republican James Lowe received 20,510 votes to win. Democrat Welcome Stokien received 9,770 votes.
In the race for County Recorder, Republican Anthony Major Maughmer received 18,832 votes to win. Democrat Kathy Dunn received 12,220 votes.
Voters in the Village of Bainbridge approved the renewal of a fire levy of 2.5 mills for 5 years with a vote of 172-109.
Voters in Concord Township approved a Fire Levy for an additional 1.75 mills for 5 years with a vote of 1,083-1,040.
Voters in Huntington Township voted down a replacement fire levy of 1 mills with a vote of 1,348-1,078.
Voters in Huntington Township voted down proposed electric aggregation by a vote of 1,557-813.
Voters in Jefferson Township approved a Cemetery Levy renewal of 1.5 mills for a continuing period of time with a vote of 298-195.
Voters in Liberty Township approved a Cemetery Levy replacement and increase of 0.75 mills for 5 years with a vote of 643-510.
Voters in Paxton Township approved a Fire and EMS Levy renewal of 1.5 mills for 5 years with a vote of 452-264.
