Marietta’s Got The Blues
Marietta's music fans, restaurants and shops are gearing up for the 22nd annual River City Blues Festival, being held March 15-16 at the Lafayette Hotel.
Hosted by the city's Blues, Jazz and Folk Music Society, the fest will feature a half-dozen national and regional blues acts, including legendary Chicago bluesman Eddie Shaw.

Photographer Expands Beleaguered Barbie Series
Last year, Athens artist Kari Gunter-Seymour debuted her photo exhibit Barbie Falls on Hard Times, which featured the well-known Mattel doll in unusual, occasionally shocking, situations.
Now the series has expanded with Barbie Falls on Hard Times: More Mayhem From the Malibu Beach House, opening Friday at UnionArts Gallery.
